The Advisory Board for Dubai Growth Fund:

Dr. Daud Bakar - Dr. Bakar was the former Associate Professor in Islamic law and Deputy Rector, Student Affairs and Disciplines, at the International Islamic University Malaysia. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Office of the International Institute of Islamic Finance. His areas of specialization include Islamic Legal Theory, Islamic Banking and Finance, Islamic Law of Zakat and Islamic Medieval Law.  Currently, Dr. Bakar is a member of the Shariah Advisory Council of many financial institutions in Malaysia and around the world, including the Central Bank of Malaysia, Securities Commission of Malaysia, International Islamic Financial Market in Bahrain, Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions in Bahrain, HSBC (Malaysia) and the Dow Jones Islamic Index Shariah board.

Ms. Raja Al Gurg - Ms. Al Gurg is the managing director and member of the board of directors of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, a large UAE conglomerate with 22 Divisions of Trading, Manufacturing and Real Estate. She sits on the board of eight business associations and NGOs in the Middle East including The Board of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dubai Economic Council, Government of Dubai, President of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Women Committee, and President of the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry Business Women Committee. Ms. Al Gurg has been selected by Forbes International Magazine among the strongest 50 Arab Business woman. She has been selected as the 4th strongest Arab Business woman in the year April 2006.

Mr. Saeed Saif Al Ghurair - Mr. Al Ghurair is prominent member in the Dubai business community. He sits on the board of Al Ghurair Group, one of the most leading business conglomerates in the GCC. He is also an executive at Gulf Extrusions Co. in the UAE. Mr. Al Ghurair has extensive experience in general business and various industries and a strong asset for the board of advisors.

Dr. Najeeb Abdelwahab - a Professor of Islamic Studies at Al-Ain University and also an active member of Islamic Scholarly community in the GCC. Dr. Abdelwahab is well known for the Islamic Television program on Dubai TV, Al Kalimah Waakhawatha
